So I stumbled upon this this morning.. Apple have released a BETA of one of their new apps which will be released with their new OSX Mountain Lion software later this year (Summer I think?)

Messages will allow you to send and receive messages on your Apple Mac laptop/desktop device from other iMessage users. I have been using this morning and it is a god send, no more having to unlock you iphone to read a mesage, it just appears on your Apple Mac!

If you send a lot of messages and a lot of your friends are using Apple iOS 5.0+ devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Macbook etc..), you seriously need to download this while you still can! (Click the link below to go straight to the download and information page)
